In 2020, our campus opened in partnership with Holberton School and the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF), launching new programs with commencement in early 2021.
In summer 2022, GKFF became the sole owner of Holberton School Tulsa. This transition signified our school’s commitment to investing in our local community, training a workforce for the ever-changing needs of the tech industry.
Soon after, we determined the best way to serve our city was creating our own identity as a Tulsa-based and Tulsa-focused institution independent from the Holberton network. In January 2024, after graduating over 100 students, we became Atlas School.
The name Atlas School signifies the importance of helping students find their path to a career in tech. An atlas does not tell you where to go, but it shows you how to get there.
In the same way, our hands-on educational framework equips our students with the tools they need and the knowledge on how to use them.
We teach students the technical skills to succeed in their field, the essential skills to get them noticed in interviews and throughout their careers, and the practical experience that prepares them for real-world work environments.
