Ace Morton upholds Atlas School’s values and helps create a positive environment for collaboration with their peers.
Ace shares his experience learning Computer Science and Machine Learning.
Ace: I started to become interested in the idea of Data Science when I had a job taking reservations. I had a lot of fun working with and improving on the spreadsheet, I decided working with data just felt right. Things escalated from Excel to VBA and now at Atlas I'm learning C and Python!
Ace: I'll be going into machine learning! I'm hoping to be an AI ethicist in the future. The inner workings of machine learning algorithms are based on statistics, and a lot of the data we're working with today is based on outdated or biased data. I hope to train people in the future to look out for these fallacies and improve on our studies.
Ace: All of the whiteboards! Having so much space to work through my code, as well as teach various concepts, is something I'm grateful for. There's a space for everyone here, both smaller rooms to focus in and large areas for group work
